The REW162 is a core-less rewinder which enhances automation on rewinding applications for two different solutions:

• Inline with XL series to create fully automated finishing workflow for rolling up to three rolls at the same time with a minimum length of 800mm (shorter lengths must be tested and approved with customer material). Thanks to a rail system it can be moved away from the output easily allowing different use of the cutter.

• Offline as a stand-alone system to create core-less rolls from sheets manually fed. It can be adapted to fit a minimum size of A4 (on request). 

This system automizes the media rolling process, significantly improving productivity while reducing the stressful and potentially harmful aspects of repetitive manual operations. With its advanced Multi function capability, it can roll either single or multiple sheets on the same roll, allowing operators to insert several sheets consecutively into one roll. This enables the efficient delivery of matched jobs and offers a substantial reduction in shipping costs compared to handling and sending individual rolls separately.

It can handle up to a 12cm diameter roll and a maximum 9Kg roll weight and can also be accessorized with up to four labelers (optional) to make sure the roll tension is consistent through all the finishing process.

Thanks to the REW162, all tools normally used for manual roll-up processes (e.g. tables) can be eliminated, saving both space and time.

At the same time, this automation allows the roll-up process to be completed without causing any damage to the material.
